  • Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce
WMC, a statewide nonprofit business association, has nearly 4,000 members that include both large and small manufacturers, service companies, local chambers of commerce and specialized trade associations from across Wisconsin. One of its top ten legislative priorities is improving education, particularly through raising teacher quality, expanding choice options, increasing employer-sponsored education and training opportunities in colleges, universities and technical schools and providing new employment training grants to businesses and individuals. It also conducts the annual WMC Economic Outlook Survey of the WMC Board of Directors, which includes questions about workforce needs.
