  • The Education Partnership
    The Education Partnership is the result of the collaboration between the Business Education Roundtable and the Public Education Fund (both statewide organizations) to form an umbrella group for various Rhode Island-based education advocacy organizations. It is funded by membership fees, which come predominantly from corporations. The Partnership’s work in education reform throughout Rhode Island is extensive, including principal and leadership training through the Kennedy Principals Fellowship and Principal Residency Network programs, the development of the Providence After School Alliance, providing out-of-school learning opportunities for students, public policy advocacy ensure all schools are managed efficiently and effectively, and the sponsorship of the Rhode Island Scholars Initiative. The Partnership also has partnered with two elementary schools to pilot the Olneyville Community Schools, a whole-school reform initiative linking schools to their surrounding communities.
