  • Coalition for the Advancement of Science and Mathematics Education in Oklahoma
    CASMEO is a nonprofit alliance of representatives from the business and education sectors working to support and coordinate efforts to revitalize science and mathematics education in the state of Oklahoma. Originally founded by the Exxon Education Foundation in 1990, it is now an independent organization. Its overall task is to encourage, coordinate and facilitate state-wide efforts to achieve curriculum changes and professional development in science and mathematics education.

  • Oklahoma Business and Education Coalition
    OBEC is a partnership of business and education leaders who are committed to continually improving the quality of Oklahoma's K-12 public education. OBEC is the business representative on the Achieving Classroom Excellence Steering Committee, a committee created by the legislature to develop strategies for the implementation of previously mandated student assessment and curriculum requirements. The Education Policy Board, a division of OBEC, hosts a Forum for Discussion, drawing together all interested individuals to learn about and discuss education reform. OBEC also manages the Oklahoma Scholars Initiative and serves as the state affiliate for Just for the Kids.
