Business and Education Partnerships in Illinois

Illinois Business Roundtable
The Illinois Business Roundtable (IBRT) is a nonprofit and voluntary association of over 60 chief executive officers of Illinois' leading businesses, formed in 1989 to study, make recommendations and take action on critical issues facing Illinois. As part of its Education Improvement Agenda, the IBRT formed the Education Foundation, which focuses its advocacy and resources primarily on teacher quality and more streamlined data collection. It has collaborated with Just For the Kids to launch the Illinois Just For the Kids website, providing extensive data on Illinois public schools. IBRT supports School Data 4 All, Inc in its work to collect, analyze, and disseminate school and student level data on WorkKeys and other assessments. IBRT also funds training for educators to learn how to access these web-based resources.
